Dear Domino Spammer

Why is this from HZ Marketing? Do they not know what 'HZ' stands for? Should I expect emails at a per-second rate? I know I have a visible email address.  I'm sure I've posted it on twitter, developerWorks, edbrill.com, eview.com, my own blog, and probably about a zillion other places.  So sure, it can be harvested.  Nevertheless this is unacceptable.

Note to Heather Schein: I'm a co-founder and Steering Committee member of OpenNTF.org. I've been published in The View. I'm a Design Partner on half of Lotus' product portfolio. I've been blogging for over 5 years.  I've done podcasts, interviews, viral videos, presented at Lotusphere, carried press credentials, and otherwise done just about everything you can imagine with Domino short of being a paid member of the IBM engineering team.  As I write this, I can't even remember the number of things I've done in the yellowverse that ultimately mean that I don't READ news about Domino; I WRITE it.

And you know why I'm absolutely sure that your site is as useful to me as a 3-assed monkey?

1 - are dominofiles and dominonews related? I didn't actually know that dominonews existed. I do however remember dominofiles, however I guess all the spam biz must be good as even after all what's been posted, they still exist...

2 - If you would like to contact Lance more directly this should help.

3 - Of course a three-assed (or four- or five-assed) monkey is useless. The seven-assed Galapagos tortoise is what you need.

4 - For the record, no email addresses are being harvested from edbrill.com. Even when they were externally visible, they were as javascript pop-ups rather than straight text. I turned them off a long time ago. Then again, given the age of this site, maybe they are working off an old list.

5 - @1 - Always read the title text on the image. Emoticon

@2 - You tease. I thought you really meant something interesting would come up, but I can't get a match. There's only a handful of anything with "monkey" at all.

6 - Ah, yes... Good ol' Heather Schein. Not by any means the first time she's been the subject of this type of discussion.. See { Link }

7 - Ah, now I know what they look like: { Link }

8 - @5 - Ed, I didn't mean to imply that you're mismanaging email addresses. There's every chance that sometime in the last 3 years, I put that address in the body of a comment.

9 - So did you try searching the LNOTES-L mailing list for 3 assed monkey to see who's e-mail address came up?

10 - Wow, you didn't highlight the "retro" domino logo as well Emoticon
