MetaJam

I try to keep my Facebook identity separate from my work identity.  But I had an idea over the weekend that lends itself better to a larger audience, so I thought I'd see if I can get my blog readers to help out.

I've put together a Facebook album of my favorite shots of our daughter called "The Cuteness of Crowds."  If you have a Facebook account, look through the 20 pictures and click "Like" on your favorite ones.  You can Like as many pictures as you want.  The picture with the most Likes wins!

Feel free to leave comments on the pictures as well if you want, but please play nicely.

Thanks.

1 - I gotta go with Joseph on his assumption that I would have to be "friends" with you. Weak! I'm actually pretty selective as to who are my FB friends. I'm not sure that our mutual interest in keeping Timmy on the straight and narrow meets the criteria but I still have to check in with my favorite picture. It would have to be the one in the carseat and ball cap on. Love the expression. I get the same general expression while sitting in my "skychair" , looking at the lake, nursing a gluten free Redbridge beer.

2 - Emoticon If there's a way to enable the Like for everyone, I can't find it. Which is odd -- if you're able to SEE the picture, why can't you give it a thumbs up? That's about the most harmless thing I could imagine someone doing.

*sigh*

Gotta love being totally dependent on SaaS vendors who couldn't care less about your personal objectives. oh well.

3 - Brian, if you get a chance, try it again. Maybe you need rights to post to my wall.

4 - I can see them, but can't "like" any of them. I think we and the rest of the folks would have to be "friends" with you.

5 - Fantastic idea for a jam! but I am also not able to "like" any of your pictures - love the Meta and dad picture, btw Emoticon

6 - So, it seems that I don't have permission to "like" any of the pictures. You probably have to open the privacy settings up in some way to allow people who aren't on your flist to use the "like" function.

As a side note, FB's new Canadian-friendly privacy settings may be helpful, but they make Domino ACLs look downright easy by comparison.
